K & Co. Media is proud to be representing South African’s very own Prodigy Drummer Boy, Danno Petersen. Drumming since a toddler and known on stage with a global fan base, Danno is the official Ambassador for South Africa. He works with major bands and artists all over the world and is currently being booked all over the world as an International Motivational Speaker and Performer. He was appointed by Afrika Tikkun as a Celebrity Ambassador. He was almost the youngest Yamaha-endorsed drummer (endorsed at age four) and was endorsed by Yamaha for 10 years. He was personally signed by President of DW Drums Mr. Don Lombardi at age 14. Danno performed at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival at age 6 and returned at age 14 to be part of the opening act in 2017 with the Batiste family. He reached 100k students in 90 days on tour with a positive message and has toured the USA and many schools motivating and inspiring young people to reach for their dreams. He was the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award given by the 44th President Barack Obama and has received numerous accolades. Danno has even had his very own TV show, which reached more than 100 million viewers. At age 11 he became the youngest student, in Africa, to enter University of Western Cape World to study music and became the youngest student at London’s Trinity University. He has performed at Nelson Mandela’s 90th, 93rd, and 95th birthday celebrations and performed for Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital in Portugal with former Governor of the Reserve Bank Tito Mboweni. He received the SA nomination and second-ever Lead SA Youth Hero in the Western Cape Award. He has performed for numerous dignitaries including former President Nelson Mandela, Former President Thabo Mbeki, President Jacob Zuma, Former Deputy President Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka – United Nations Under-Secretary-General and Executive Director of UN Women and the former Governor of the South African Reserve Bank, Mr. Tito Mboweni and the South African Ambassador to the United States, His Excellency Mr. Ebrahim Rasool among others. Danno was chosen to be on “The Song 4 Africa” with big name artists such as Akon, Youssou N’Dour from Senegal. He has performed for the President of Ghana, spoke at the MasterCard Foundation Conference and has received numerous invitations and visited several countries throughout Africa. He traveled to the legendary Capital Records’ Studio in Hollywood, CA and recorded his is first-ever demo record. He performed at the Grammy Award Party at the historical Raleigh Studios in Hollywood, CA with record label executives, celebrity appearances, media and press in attendance held in 2018. Danno is currently working with a major Film Company, which will produce Danno’s feature Film and will be broadcasted nationally and internationally. Danno even has his own Foundation called The Daniel Petersen III Foundation, making it possible for hundreds of underprivileged children to receive their own instruments and share the joy music brings. Danno received the award for Best Original Music score for a short film. Danno has been selected as one of the 100 Mandela’s of the future by News24.  On Youth Day, June 16, 2018, President Cyril Ramaphosa of South Africa chose Danno to be one of his Trail Blazers. Danno was featured on a documentary with Beautiful News South Africa, Sponsored by Mercedes-Benz with over 225k views in less than a week.
